王立平

中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院脑认知与脑疾病研究所所长、中国科学院脑科学卓越中心骨干成员、中国科学院脑联结解析与调控重点实验室主任、广东省脑连接图谱重点实验室主任、深圳神经精神调控重点实验室主任,博士生导师。曾于德国麦克斯·德尔布吕克分子医学中心(MDC)攻读博士,美国斯坦福大学进行博士后研究。国家基金委杰出青年基金(2014)获得者,教育部长江学者特聘教授(2017)、科技部中青年科技创新领军人才(2014)。曾获广东省自然科学奖一等奖,深圳市自然科学奖一等奖等奖项。担任中国神经科学学会中国认知科学学会理事,中国神经科学学会神经科学技术研究分会主任委员。主要致力于精神疾病病理生理机制的研究,着重于本能恐惧情绪神经环路生理机制的跨物种解析,以及精神疾病发生的神经环路病理机制和干预策略。已发表包括Nature,Nature Neuroscience,Neuron,Nature Communications,PNAS等在内的SCI论文68篇(其中第一作者/通讯作者Nature及其子刊论文7篇),被Nature、Nature Neuroscience、Neuron、Chemical Reviews等国际期刊引用超过3600次,其中单篇最高被引超1000次。承担的科研项目主要包括基金委基金委重点项目、科学院脑科学战略先导专项、国际大科学计划培育专项等37项。

    主要研究方向及内容

    1、非习得性恐惧的神经环路基础  

    物种针对生存环境中危险因素刺激而呈现出的恐惧样反应,是对物种生存和繁衍至关重要的基本的本能行为之一。人们既往关注比较多的是后天经过学习的习得性恐惧,然而对调控非习得性恐惧情绪的神经环路如何构筑及其调控机制至今不清。我们利用光遗传学方法,多通道光电生理技术、神经环路示踪技术等,以啮齿类和非人灵长类动物模型为研究对象,来解析非习得性恐惧,尤其是基于视觉刺激的非习得性恐惧的皮层下神经环路基础及其调控机制。基于此,还将进一步探索非习得性恐惧神经环路与习得性恐惧以及其他生存环路,如代谢等的相互调控机制。

    2、精神疾病神经环路层面的发生机制  

    精神分裂症、自闭症、多动症、抑郁症和双向情感障碍等精神疾病在临床诊断中,主要依靠“症状性描述”而并非“病因”。这些疾病在很大程度上是由于其在遗传学上共享特定的遗传背景,而导致一定程度的“共易患性”。因此,在神经环路层面解析精神疾病“共享的”或者“特定的”神经环路基础及其功能变异特征将为深刻认识精神疾病的发生机制,尤其是为未来诊断精神疾病,需要依赖“神经环路病因”和“脑认知证据”,而非“症状性描述”提供可能的重要线索。我们将利用光遗传学,光电生理、神经环路示踪技术等,以啮齿类和非人灵长类动物模型为研究对象,研究导致上述精神疾病可能共有的症候,如情绪调控异常等的神经环路基础及其调控机制,进而为精神疾病的“病因”诊断提供实验依据。

    3、光遗传神经调控技术的研发  

    针对上述科学问题的解决,均需要应用高时空精准,细胞特异的调控特定类型细胞功能的标记与调控工具。因此,我们将基于已经建立的光遗传神经调控技术研发,应用与资源共享平台,通过多个实验室合作,结合电生理、光学成像和磁共振技术来研究神经信号,包括神经节律震荡信号,磁共振信号的细胞起源。同时,力争为卓越中心其他团队提供技术支撑。
